Jon Gardner, CPCU, MBA

Jon started his insurance career with Farmers Insurance as an Underwriter in 1989. After spending 13 years with the Farmers corporate office, Jon opened a Farmers Insurance Agency in 2002. After building that Agency into a successful business, he sold that back to Farmers and started an independent agency so that he could work with multiple carriers to better meet his clients’ needs. As the Agency continued to grow, Jon wanted to offer a higher level of service to his clients which led to both the Company Mission and its Core Philosophies.

Jon lives in Santa Clarita with his wife Lori of 30 years. He has two grown children that work in the engineering field. Jon’s favorite movie is the “Avengers” as he enjoys superhero movies and the comedic moments inserted throughout the movie. Forest Gump is also a favorite as it highlights the acting talents of Tom Hanks and was just fun to watch. Jon’s favorite foods include Mexican and Italian food, with tortilla soup, carnitas, and lasagna leading the way.

In his free time, Jon enjoys hiking with his family in the local hills, especially in Spring when everything is green. Additionally, Jon enjoys rooting for the Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams and plays both fantasy football and fantasy baseball during their seasons. His favorite vacation is a cruise where he can visit multiple cities mixed with relaxing days at sea, all without having to pack and unpack for each destination.

Vivian has been with the Agency since January 2007 and is our longest-tenured staff member. Throughout her 30+ years of professional experience in Banking, Sales, and Management positions, Vivian prides herself in the premier service she provides her clients.  She is highly organized with excellent follow-up skills which always leads to a positive client experience.  Her desire and skills in this area have translated well for the Agency and are a great fit with our Company Values.  Vivian continues to receive compliments for the service she provides our clients.  

Vivian’s favorite movie is the Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Watching this during the holiday season is a tradition for her and her family. Her favorite food is chocolate-covered strawberries which she only partakes to enjoy on Valentine’s Day.

Vivian’s favorite activity is spending time with her grandkids. Her grandkids are local so she gets to see them often and enjoys watching them grow up. Her ideal vacation (probably not with her grandkids) is to spend time on the Hawaiian Islands. Vivian enjoys the warm temperatures, the beautiful beaches, and the laid-back living.

Judi started with our Agency in February 2020. Judi came to us with over 30+ years of professional experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, and Production Accountant.  In these positions, she managed key projects, trained new people, and handled many human resource functions.  During the last 7 years prior to joining us, Judi worked at a local insurance office where she learned the insurance industry, earned her license and managed the office, including a satellite location.  With her professional experience and insurance background, Judi hit the ground running and has been an important contributor since.  Several clients have already raved about her ability to explain coverages and her level of service. Her belief that clients should be educated fits very well with the Company’s Mission.

Judi’s favorite movie is “Remember the Titans” as she is a fan of football movies, especially if they tug at the heartstrings. Her favorite food is Mexican food with tacos at the top of the list. “Street” tacos with carnitas are only rivaled by her love of chips and salsa.

In her free time, Judi enjoys reading and scrapbooking. Stephen King is one of her favorite authors along with Diana Gabaldon (Outlander). The scrapbooking gives her a chance to look at old pictures, relive memories, tell stories, and leave something behind for her family.

Judi loves the snow. While she no longer skis, she is mesmerized by the season that brings snow. Traveling anywhere that allows for a winter wonderland would be perfect…and a bonus for her if it snowed during her stay. She also enjoys sightseeing for different architecture, so winter in Europe is a dream vacation.

Jessica started with the agency in November of 2023. She has over 20 years of customer service experience and has been in the insurance industry for the past 7 years.

Jessica’s favorite movies are Dirty Dancing and Phantom of the Opera. She also loves old classical musicals such as Singing in the Rain and My Fair Lady, which she grew up watching with her grandmother. Jessica’s favorite food is anything with seafood in it! She loves to make seafood broil with lobster, crab, shrimp, and all the fixings.

Jessica has two grown boys that she loves spending time with. In her free time, you’ll find her at Disneyland walking down Mainstreet with a Mickey shaped treat. She is fluent in sign language and enjoys being involved in the deaf community. She also enjoys spoiling her two little dogs that she adores.

Stephanie recently started with our agency in July 2023.Prior to joining us, Stephanie had started working a local insurance office in 2014 where she started off as a receptionist and learned about the insurance industry. She primarily started to focus on learning the claim process and the importance of being communicative with clients at a time they needed it most. Shortly after, she earned her insurance license and took on an office manager position in 2016. As she continued to service clients policies, she feels most accomplished when she can take the time to explain coverage to clients and they have a better understanding of their policy.

• Favorite movie and why – I don’t have a favorite movie but my favorite show is the office. I can rewatch the show a hundred times and laugh or cry like I’ve never seen it before and still absolutely enjoy the show. I love the humor, the love stories and the friendships all apart of the show.
• Favorite foods – My Grandmas cooking & Chinese food are my top one’s. My grandmas cooking has always brought so much love to the table and just brings my heart and stomach joy. Chinese food has also always had a place in my heart since I was a little girl and still does carry that place. Both are just my favorite comfort food.
• Favorite hobbies as well and why you enjoy those things. –I really enjoy working on my cricut. Seeing my vision come to life is such a rewarding feeling and gives me a place to be creative. I also love taking my two littles outdoors and making memories with them. Seeing them learn, use their imagination and want to include their mom in their activity give me so much joy
